Derby Wrap Up Celebration & Winners

On Sunday, March 27th, we gathered together to celebrate the derby winners, remember, give out some awesome prizes, and, most importantly, hand over a check to the Fraser Valley Watershed Coalition.

Through the Wally Hall Boxing Day Derby, Wrap Up Raffle, and Wally Hall Jr. Memorial Steelhead Derby, there was a total of $30,060 raised. The FVWC will then turn this into anywhere from $90,000 to $150,000 via matching grants through public and private funding efforts. With that money going straight back into the Chilliwack / Vedder River for salmon and steelhead habitat restoration.

Thank you all for a job well done, and we can't wait to see what happens in 2022/23!
