Spring Break at the Cannery

Come to the Cannery during Spring Break for some historic fishy fun!

Learn about Canada’s West Coast fishing history with the whole family through the Cannery’s interactive exhibits.

Kids 6-11 years old can pick up a Parks Canada Xplorer activity booklet filled with fun activities to help explore the spacious 55,000 square foot historic cannery.

For the little ones five and under, find fishy-themed toys, games, and dress-up inside the Cannery Kids’ Corner.

See the canning lines come to life during the machine demos at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., when we turn on the equipment to show you how they work.

On weekdays from noon-3 p.m. the Cannery will also offer daily-themed activities suitable for kids ages 5-10 years old.
